A brief history of MARP establishment
MARP Proteam committee
The idea on formation of Malaysian Association of Rehabilitation Physicians was started in Glenmarie, Shah Alam. Led by Dato Zaliha Omar, Saari M. Yatim, Julia P. Engkasan, Yusniza M. Yusof, Mohd Izmi, Sharon Anne Khor, Nor Bismillah and Foong Chee Choong
MARP is born
Malaysian Association of Rehabilitation Physicians (MARP) is officially registered with Registrar of Society (ROS) Malaysia on this historical day.
First Central Committee
First ever MARP meeting was held in Corus Paradise Resort, Port Dickson. The Proteam committee was dissolved and replaced by first central committee.
First Annual General Meeting
MARP's first AGM was held at off Jalan Templer, Petaling Jaya. MARP name & logo was endorsed by all members in the meeting
